29 & 30 June 2022. Out of Isefjord

Slow sail from Holbaek to Rørvig anchorage. We anchored for swim and lunch on the way and then joined 14 other boats in the anchorage at Rørvig.

Next day a slow windward sail to Gilleleje. Summer holidays are really getting going here, helped by hot weather. Another really good swimming bridge off our side of the harbour.  It is used all day by a continuous stream if people, mostly not from the marina, but does not seem crowded.

25 to 28 June 2022. Isefjord

Loafing around in a large inland area of water. Warm or hot with light winds so we have not been far

I have rather given up on blogs.  Somehow the blogging apps don't make it easy to post stuff. 

However I am having another go using BlogIt. 

So I am only doing from 23 June onwards. I may also give up.

Rørvig. 24 June 2022

Forecast for more wind during the day.  So after a swim we took a bike ride nearby. Also a brief swim in the Kattegat.

This is the mid point of Denmark. Does not look like it to me on the map but I guess it depends how you work it out

No wind, tired, so spending the day here waiting for the celebration of Sankt Hans Aften this evening. Complicated midsummer thing but it involves burning a witch, fireworks and (we hope) food. 

The harbour has the best swimming steps and changing place we have seen.

The band played. We got hungry so went back to the boat for supper.
